Rep. Burchett Presses FAA Administrator on Workforce

Washington, DC (December 16, 2025) — Today, US Congressman Tim Burchett questioned Federal Aviation Administrator Bryan Bedford in the Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Aviation. The questions related to the specific actions the Federal Aviation Administration is taking to fully implement the President’s directive for non-discriminatory, merit-based hiring across all positions.

“It is important that we ensure the administration is continuing to dismantle Biden-era DEI policies, which have hurt every aspect of the American workforce more than they have helped it.” Said Congressman Burchett.
