Veterans

The men and women who sign up to protect our country’s freedoms deserve proper recognition and respect, not just on Veterans Day and Memorial Day, but every day of the year.

My father fought in the Pacific, and my mother lost a brother in World War II fighting the Nazis. So, I grew up hearing firsthand stories of service and sacrifice. I owe everything but my salvation to our military servicemen and women.

In Congress, I will always fight for our veterans who were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms.
