Burchett celebrates life of Wanda Moody on House floor

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Dec. 3, 2020) -- Last night, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) honored the life of former Knox County Commissioner Wanda Moody, who passed away on Nov. 29. In a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives, Rep. Burchett celebrated Moody's career as an educator and public servant, as well as sharing the positive impact she had on his life.
"Wanda was one of my oldest friends and her mentorship will forever influence my public service career," Burchett said during his remarks. "Although she will be greatly missed, I’m proud to celebrate Wanda’s life and recognize her many contributions to our community."
