Burchett to Speaker Pelosi, Leader Hoyer: Do not tie Coronavirus response to FISA re-authorization

February 28, 2020

Leads 38 of his colleagues in letter to Democrat leadership

WASHINGTON (Feb. 28, 2020) -- Today, Congressman Tim Burchett (TN-02) sent a letter co-signed by 38 members of Congress to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer urging separate bills for Coronavirus response funding and re-authorizing the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
