KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 25, 2022) – U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) released the following statement regarding U.S. Representative Jim Cooper's (TN-05) decision to retire at the end of the 117th Congress:
"Representative Cooper is a friend, and he'll be missed in the House of Representatives. I wish him the best in his retirement."
