Congressman Tim Burchett returns to House Foreign Affairs Committee for the 118th Congress

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 18, 2023) – Today, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) officially returned to the House Foreign Affairs Committee for the 118th Congress.

Rep. Burchett served on this committee in the 117^th Congress. 

“It’s clear by looking at places like China, Afghanistan, and Russia that our foreign policy under the Biden administration hasn’t served the best interests of the American people,” said Rep. Burchett. “I’m looking forward to using my position on this committee to confront the real challenges we face on the world stage while prioritizing our needs here at home.”
