Rep. Burchett statement on vote against 2023 omnibus

WASHINGTON, D.C., (Dec. 23, 2022) -- Today, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) released the following information about his vote against the $1.7 trillion omnibus bill to fund the government for FY2023.

"I voted against this ridiculous bill because it spends billions of dollars on woke garbage and completely disregards Congress' duty to spend taxpayer money responsibly. The American people are not our piggy bank, and I refuse to support a bill that treats them like one."
