Rep. Burchett supports House GOP ‘Commitment to America’ plan for 118th Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C., (Sept. 23, 2022) – Today, U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett (TN-02) expressed his support for the House Republicans’ newly-revealed “Commitment to America” plan. 

Earlier today, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy unveiled the four-pillar “Commitment to America” agenda House Republicans plan to implement next year. The four pillars are: 

• An Economy That’s Strong 
• A Nation That’s Safe 
• A Future That’s Built on Freedom 
• A Government That’s Accountable 

“Very soon, Republicans will enact some common-sense policies that have been sorely lacking under the Biden administration and Democrats in Congress,” said Rep. Burchett. “This plan will get our economy back on track and force our politicians to remain accountable to the folks who elected them.”
