Rep. Burchett votes in favor of second Mayorkas impeachment vote

WASHINGTON, D.C.,(Feb. 13, 2024) – U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett (TN-02) released the following statement on his vote in favor of impeaching DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for the second time:

“I’m glad we were able to get this done. America deserves better than a leader who willfully neglects one of the greatest threats to our national security, then lies about it under oath.”

The vote passed 214-213 on the House floor.
