WASHINGTON, D.C (Jan 6, 2021) -- U.S. Representative Tim Burchett has released the following statement regarding the situation at the U.S. Capitol:
"The rioting at the U.S. Capitol is disgusting and criminal. The President needs to publicly tell his supporters to stop or else people are going to get hurt or possibly die. Thank God for the United States Capitol Police officers working to get the situation under control; they have families just like we do."
The freshman class will be sworn in on January 3rd, 2021 when the First Session of the 117th United States Congress convenes.

This legislation is over 5,000 pages long, contains all 12 appropriations bills that are supposed to be voted on individually and has a $2.4 trillion price tag.
