WASHINGTON, D.C., (Sept. 10th, 2024) – Today, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, hosted a Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony to honor the lives of the 13 American servicemembers who were tragically killed in the Kabul Airport terrorist attack that occurred on August 26, 2021 during the final days of the Afghanistan withdrawal. 

Rep. Burchett was in attendance with other lawmakers from both chambers of Congress.
